With its Touch Screen User Interface, and user configurable screens, the OneTouch® Register System is one of the simplest POS Systems to use.
With support for up to 1 million inventory items, integrated Scanner, quick menus, and item-level searching, the OneTouch® Register System provides sales information to the individual item level.
The OneTouch® Register uses the latest touch screen technology and is constantly being reviewed for cashier ease-of-use. Our desire to create a truly simple POS application has resulted in several cashier-driven design changes — such as an uncluttered look that helps minimize the cashier training process.
While some POS systems utilize proprietary equipment, the OneTouch® Register is built on PC Microprocessor technology. This allows the underlying equipment to be upgraded as newer technology becomes available without unnecessary software upgrades.
The OneTouch® Register communicates with an SQL Database, and easily allows you to add, maintain, price, categorize, and report on up to one million inventory items.
To facilitate cashier ease of entry, the OneTouch® Register can ring up items in several different ways, including item level search, an integrated Scanner for bar-coded product, and selection of items via quick menus. Included is the ability to set tax rates down to the item level. The system supports different tax rates for state, county, and city municipalities.
When combined with the eSite Pump Controller, the Register allows complete control of up to 64 fueling locations via the integrated PumpToolbar.
Using DataManager, the included Windows based application for maintaining the Register data, users can easily receive and adjust inventory, change prices, and add, change, or delete inventory information. Additionally, sales and inventory reports can be viewed and/or printed.
The OneTouch® Register system allows store managers the ability to create any number of custom "quick menus", and associated the buttons on the menu with hard to scan items, fountain, or other non-barcoded products. One touch on the screen adds the item to the sale and simplifies the process for the cashier.
The Quick Menus are setup in the DataManager software, and applied to each register at any time. Additionally, every register in a particular store can have it's own set of Quick Menus for those items more likely to be purchased at that register.
Shift changes can be done at any time, even during high customer volumes. Shift changes take less than 10 seconds. The Register System allows up to 48 shifts per day, and shifts can span actual day boundaries.
The Register system accepts several forms of payment, and multiple payment methods for any transaction.
Managers can decide if Check details are required, and tie the entered information to a bad check file, which is also stored in the Register Database.
The OneTouch® Register is certified with these networks and card types:
Support for the above Fleet networks includes Odometer, Pin, Vehicle and Driver prompts.
The OneTouch® Register System offers complete Proprietary Fleet Support, and base-level support for Gift Cards. This means that no additional programming or license modules are necessary to enable this functionality.
The OneTouch® Register supports any existing proprietary card layout. The track layout is user-configurable in the Register database, and all existing cards can be used with no changes.
The DataManager software, which maintains customer, card, and transactional information from the Register Systems has a user-definable export facility. This export facility is "tablized" (i.e. the definitions are stored as SQL Statements in a database table), and not part of the source code of the DataManager. As the software is upgraded, the export definitions remain the same, guaranteeing that the exports work the same all the time.
Since the Register database is a secure SQL Server 2005 database, Transactions can be exported directly from the database into other systems as needed. Unlike some systems, the database schema is directly accessible by your IT staff.
This feature enables customer's staff (or contracted programmers) to directly manipulate, export, or even maintain information remotely from other interfaces. These include Web services, MS Access Applications, or other Windows based applications.
The OneTouch® Register is pre-installed with RealVNC's VNC Server. This remote management tool provides complete remote desktop, and complete Windows management capabilities for both dial-up and secure VPN connections.
The OneTouch® Register integrates seamlessly with other OneTouch® Products, including the eSite Controller, DataManager, CP720, Pedestal, and PumpToolbar.
